During the Month of May we held a May Crowning at Our Lady's Convent in Port Hood. The Daughters of St. Joseph planned the crowning and we joined by many members of the community.
Welcome to the Daughters of St. Joseph, Port Hood Blog! This group for girls ages 9-17 (younger may join if requested) was founded in Ontario in August 2007 and in Port Hood, Nova Scotia in December 2007 by the Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate. They wanted to form a group for girls to help them grow in their faith, have fun together and serve in the Church and community! We take St. Joseph as a spiritual father who will look after us and protect us from heaven, just as he looked after and protected Mary and Jesus during his lifetime on earth.
